S. Ari Arumugam, MD
Dr. S. Ari Arumugam is a board certified plastic surgeon who recently practiced in Orland Park, Illinois and Munster, Indiana. He specialized in a full range of plastic surgery procedures including breast augmentation surgery, breast lift surgery and breast reduction surgery.
Dr. Ari - as he is known to his staff and patients - completed his residency in plastic surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago. Fellows training in Northwestern University's plastic surgery program rotate through Evanston Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Children's Memorial Hospital - and at the time of Dr. Ari's training - Cook County Hospital. He lectures internationally and teaches residents and surgeons in lesser developed countries the art of plastic surgery. He is a major contributor of content for this website, and he helps answer your emailed questions.
Dr. Ari recently retired from private practice to pursue other ventures in his native India - he is excited to report that has handed over his pracitce to Dr. Rajendra Shah.
Dr. Ari is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
